Today I came across some photos that I took a few years back at my dad's cabin. Thunderstorms were moving through at sunset, and provided moving sculptures of multi-hued clouds over the rain-softened greenscape. I tried painting from a few of these...but every attempt at realism looked like something out of a Disney cartoon!
